The barcode could not be scanned at the store. What is the problem?

    Well, forget about your "old technology" excuse. "Beep'n go" works perfectly at all stores

    Hi Patrick, thanks for your feedback! Beep'n'Go was able to avoid this issue with older scanning technologies by utilizing the so-called Samsung Beaming Service. This technology directly transferred the barcode from your phone to the scanning device, thus making it possible to use digital loyalty cards also with older scanners. Since we are aware that Beep'nGo discontinued their service last year we have already reached out to Samsung in order to make this technology available in Stocard instead. Unfortunately, Samsung currently restricts the usage of their Beaming Service. Therefore, we cannot offer you barcode beaming in Stocard at the moment. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

    Dont work with my fone so its easier just having the card in your purse at least that scans and works

    used mainly in Coles. Use to work with my older phone...but since upgrading to a new phone it doesn't work at all through the self checkout but it works via the normal checkouts.

    Thanks for your feedback! This is most likely because the self-service tills at Coles use laser scanners which frequently have difficulties reading phone displays in general. You can always try to move your phone slowly back and forth in front of the scanner until the barcode is picked up properly. If the scanner cannot pick it up at all, it might be best to ask the store staff to enter your card number manually instead. Hopefully most stores will switch to image-based scanners soon so that your barcodes in Stocard can be read in a matter of seconds in the future.
