How can I register my Stocard account?

    I registret Stocard first on the new mobile with my mail address, then I been forced to register Stocard on the old mobile with another mail address to avoid to lose all data.

    Why it isn't possible to hook the second registration to the first one and then give the possibility to choose which device sends data to the other?

    I found the same problem with "connect" command: you can't choose which is the sender and which is the receiver: the first that you activate is the sender...but is not easy to understand.

    Hi Piera, we're sorry for the confusion. Usually you would use the "Register" setting on the old device only in order to create your backup. Then you would use the "Log In" setting instead on the new phone in order to log into your account again and restore your data. Registering an account on your new phone will simply create an empty backup account since there are no cards on this device yet. If you would like us to reset this additional registration, please don't hesitate to contact us at support@stocardapp.com.

    I registered my account via Facebook, but do not use that Facebook account on my phone (and don’t want any trace of it there either). I’ve now supplied my email address and added a password for this website. 

    I want to be able to set up the Stocard on my phone using this email and password but it’s saying m not registered

    Hi Sarah, thank you so much for your message! I'm so sorry for the confusion! The account you can create on our website is for support purposes only and completely independent of the Stocard cloud account you registered within the app. If you would like to change the login method for your Stocard account from Facebook to Email, please contact me at support@stocardapp.com and provide me with your account ID for the account you registered with Facebook. You will find this ID in your Stocard settings under "Account". We will then reset your registration so that you can register one more time, this time choosing Email instead of Facebook.

    Dear

    As many others I am having problems logging in on the account I registered on my old phone. I registered with my Facebook account and this is registered according to the confirmation on my old phone.

    When I open the app on my new phone and try to log in with Facebook, I get the message that the login is not connected with an existing stocard account.

    I do not want to loose the cards already stored or to redo all the work.

    Hi Christel, my apologies for the delayed response. Is it by any chance possible that your old phone is running an older Stocard version? You can check your current Stocard version in the app's settings under "About". In case you are running a Stocard version lower than version 7.0.0, you are still using our previous backup feature, the "Stocard Backup" on the old device. We are now using the "Stocard Account" instead on any Stocard version higher than 7.0.0. Your new phone is probably already using this new backup system. The easiest way to fix this issue would be to update our old phone to the lates Stocard version, re-register your account with Facebook so that your backup is attached to the new system and then log in on the new phone.
